DroneSwarm® is the drone light show division of MLE Pyrotechnics – one of the UK’s leading firework display companies. We have a huge amount of experience delivering entertainment at weddings all across the UK whether it be drone shows, firework displays or laser & lighting shows
Drone Shows
More and more clients are interested in drone shows rather than fireworks – we are the only UK company doing both in-house.
Firework Displays
We’ve produced 1000’s of firework displays for weddings through to international events. We are right at the forefront of the firework industry.

Since 2017 we have been producing laser displays and lighting shows – another alternative to firework displays.
Meet PIXEL
We design and manufacture our drones in the UK.
As UK leading experts in drone light show technology we design software, firmware and hardware at our offices right in the middle of the UK.
We use LiDAR laser scanning to design our shows
Whilst Google Earth or similar tools will provide initial data for your venue we will always perform a site survey prior to any show. During this we often perform a laser scan using a LiDAR sensor flown from a drone.
This enables us to build a 3D model of the exact venue precise to 2cm. The model will give us the heights of trees, buildings and any distances required.
We have developed class leading management systems and training tools
Having the right hardware is only part of the story.
We’ve used our years of experience in show production to write custom web based management systems to assist us in providing shows in the safest way possible.
Whether it is logging battery cycles and voltages, monitoring the health of our fleet, planning shows, analysing laser scan data or animating the actual show – we’ve written tools that make us the most efficient we can be.

We produced the UK’s first ever Drone Proposal
We were approached by Rhys Whelan, 30, who popped the question to Megan Greenwood, 27, at an event we produce called Firework Champions. The display took place at Newby Hall near Ripon, North Yorkshire, on Saturday night in front of thousands of people.
We also produce large scale events
We’re as at home producing large scale events for crowds of 10,000’s as we are performing at wedding receptions with an intimate audience.
